Angela Rippon CBE joins Dancers’ Career Development as Patron
Dancers’ Career Development is honoured to announce the appointment of Angela Rippon CBE as a Patron of its award-winning, unique charity. An icon of British media and a true pioneer, Angela was the first female journalist to regularly present the BBC’s national news. She has remained a beloved figure in British broadcasting ever since, from delivering hard-hitting journalism to captivating a new generation on Strictly Come Dancing and recently spearheading the nationwide Let's Dance! health campaign.
Announcing: Tour de Dance
This autumn professional dancer Hamish Scott will undertake a unique Tour de Dance: a 500-mile sponsored cycle ride from Newcastle to London over 10 days, stopping along the way to shine a light on dancers and the incredible journeys they take after performing.
