DCD’s Retraining Grants can help support dancers with the practical costs of transitioning into a new career.  

An annual programme for dancers, that helps to challenge and support personal and professional growth. Now open for applications, to take part in 2027.

To support activity beginning no earlier than April 2027. Potential applicants must meet with a DCD Relationship Manager by 8 February. This application round is open only to DCD Partner Company dancers. Independent dancers should apply to the May round (unless an urgent need has been discussed with a Relationship Manager prior to 8 February).      

To support activity beginning no earlier than July 2027. Potential applicants must meet with a DCD Relationship Manager by 10 May.
